- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2013Scent Name: LavenderVerified PurchaseI peed everywhere. That bush? Yep. Peed on it! That tree? Uh huh. Peed on it. Those tiny woodland creatures? Screw you, b*tches! Peed on them. I peed in the sun. I peed in the rain. I peed just for fun. I peed down a drain. I peed in the light. I peed in the dark. I peed left and right. I peed in the park.
You just hold it in place, pull your pants down just enough for it to stick out and pee. No taking your pants all the way off. No squatting. No accidentally peeing down the side of your leg. When you're done you just shake it out, rinse it if you can, and stick it back into the container. Easy PEEsy.
The directions say to try this at home first in your toilet. I did not do that and it was fine....HOWEVER.... My friend, on the other hand, who also got a GoGirl for our long weekend adventure, tried it for the first time after several bottles of wine. She didn't pee on anything. Except herself. So maybe follow the directions unless you're as awesome as I am, especially if you've gone through, like, a bottle and a half of red AND white wine in like 45 minutes. I'm just sayin'.
Also, mine is lavender and hers is khaki, I don't think that made a difference in pee skill, but I feel like I was more fashionable when doing it. They should make more colors so a girl can coordinate her PEEnis with her outfit.
Either way, I can't wait until winter so I can try to write my name in the snow.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2011Scent Name: LavenderVerified PurchaseAfter reading the reviews about Go Girl, I was a bit skeptical about trying this product. However, I was traveling to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with a four day safari afterwards and needed a solution for night time bathroom breaks. It is recommended on the climb that you do not leave your tent because of the weather and the fact that you might fall off a cliff. It is recommended on the safari that you do not leave your tent as you may be eaten by wild animals. As such, we repurposed a water bottle into a night time "potty"; however, for women, this is not as easy as for men. So I was looking for a solution for myself and Go Girl was the solution I chose. I practiced for about two months before my trip and felt very confident using it. I only had one accident and that was because I was lacking a proper seal on the back. When I first received it and began to practice, my husband and four year old crowded into the bathroom to witness this momentous occasion. Luckily, it went well. Surprisingly, my four year old was super excited that mommy could pee like daddy and she wanted to try it as well. Again, I was skeptical, but she tried it and was successful. She like it so much, she wanted to try it again later - which did not go as well. Since then, she has not asked to try it again. On the trip, I never actually used it standing up as you do have to pull your pants down rather far to get the proper positioning. With my pants already around my knees, I found it was faster and easier to just squat. However, it served its purpose for night time "potty breaks" well. I simply got on my knees in the tent, positioned the Go Girl and peed in the bottle with no problem. I did keep a tissue underneath to catch minor drips upon removal. I highly recommed this product for use in a tent at night or in sketchy bathrooms (stadiums, reststops); however, for someone looking for a solution to use as an alternative to squating in the wild, this product is not very effective. It is soft and the hose is not very long, requiring you to get the proper leverage to get it to work well. This is difficult to do without your pants down low. I will say my husband walked in on me once with my pants down, one hand on my hips and the other holding the device and I chatted with him over my shoulder. He said it was a bit unnerving....
- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2020Scent Name: LavenderVerified PurchaseI am an avid bicyclist, and during this COVID19 shutdown all public restrooms were locked. However, the parks dept. did set up port-a-potties in a few locations. OMG, we all know what p-a-ps are like... you have to go, but dread touching anything with ANY part of your body. I wear Lycra bike shorts which are tricky to lower, raise and readjust in the best of circumstances, but I was able to lower my riding shorts, place the funnel securely and simply go, which is weird at first. I didn't do a practice run before using it the first time - but I suggest a home-test-run to get the hang of it before having to use it while out somewhere, so you'll be more confident you won't accidentally make a mess of things (which was my initial fear). The perfectly sized case fits in my pocket
(I'm 66 yo and prefer wearing mountain-bike shorts over my padded-seat Lycra shorts, which has convenient pockets). The case comes with the funnel, a wipe, and an appropriate sized plastic bag. I keep all components together, but use some of them differently. First, I remove and lay the plastic bag up onto the shelf in the PAP (so far, all the PAPs I've come across have a shelf); then place the case, its lid, and funnel on the plastic. Note that I leave the wipe in the case for other situations, so yes, I drip dry for a few seconds; no big deal. Then I adjust my shorts accordingly and follow the "how to hold" instructions (again, a practice-run at home would have helped). After use, I make sure the funnel is empty, fold/roll it up tightly and wrap it in the plastic bag - note I do not place it inside the bag (which is the manufacturer's original intention for it). I use the flattened plastic bag to wrap the now rolled funnel because it's flat and I can ensure the funnel stays in the compact roll so I can get it back into the case easily without fussing with it while in the gawd-awful PAP - I want out asap, and its got to go back in my pocket. As soon as I'm home again I wash the funnel, bag, and case with very hot water and dish-soap (it's silicone and plastic); allow them to air dry completely before assembling it again ready for my next ride. I never leave it unwashed, unprepared, because...eeeeww. The port-a-potties are still gross, but when nature calls... I've got my GoGirl!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product. My review is a little 'graphic' in detail but hopefully helpful
Scent Name: LavenderVerified PurchaseBrilliant. I have a sheewee but found that having less 'tucked up' labia it was trickier to use without splash back. The fuller cup on the go girl is easier for my body shape. I was a little worried that the end may be a little short but is fine even through trousers. (You can buy an extension too) it is also compatible with sheewees shorts with the easy access fly. To get back into its tube fold the spout into the middle then fold/roll like a fajita then squeezes in. Great for discreet wees outdoors. Very liberating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Täglicher, praktischer Beleiter für mich
